Historica Canada’s programs, all offered bilingually, reach more than eight million Canadians annually, while the Canadian Museum of History is the country’s largest and most popular cultural institution attracting more than one million visitors each year. Together, these organizations can expand their reach and support each other’s efforts to engage Canadians with this country’s past.

“We are thrilled to begin a formal partnership with the Canadian Museum of History,” said Historica Canada president and CEO Anthony Wilson-Smith. “While we share a mandate of enhancing awareness of Canadian history, we have different assets and resources. This agreement will strengthen both organizations moving forward.”

"The Canadian Museum of History and Historica Canada share a common goal: to further the knowledge of Canadian history amongst Canadians," said Jean-Marc Blais, Director General of the Canadian Museum of History. "Through this partnership agreement, our organizations formalize our very fruitful relationship, and we will continue to collaborate on many exciting projects over the coming years for the benefit of all Canadians."
